These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Coattail, Inc. ("Coattail," "we," "our," or "us") governing your access to and use of the Coattail mobile application, website, and all related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. The Service is intended for use in the United States.
Coattail is an information aggregation platform that compiles and displays publicly available data regarding securities transactions disclosed by U.S. Congress members (STOCK Act), institutional investors (SEC 13F), corporate insiders (SEC Form 4), and other publicly disclosed investment activity.
Important data limitations: STOCK Act disclosures may be filed up to 45 days after a transaction. 13F filings are quarterly. By the time information appears on the Service, market conditions may have changed materially.

The Service, including its features, design, and functionality, is owned by Coattail, Inc. and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. The Coattail name, logo, and brand elements are trademarks of Coattail, Inc. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, incorporated into these Terms by reference.
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or integrate with third-party services, including financial data providers and brokerage platforms. We are not responsible for third-party content, privacy practices, or terms.
THE SERVICE IS AN INFORMATIONAL PLATFORM ONLY. NOTHING ON THE SERVICE CONSTITUTES, OR SHOULD BE CONSTRUED AS, FINANCIAL ADVICE, INVESTMENT ADVICE, TRADING ADVICE, OR ANY OTHER TYPE OF ADVICE. INFORMATION IS PROVIDED SOLELY FOR INFORMATIONAL AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES.
Coattail is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or financial planner. No fiduciary relationship exists between Coattail and any user. We do not recommend, endorse, or suggest any securities or investment strategies.
Past performance of any investor or strategy reflected on the Service is not indicative of future results. The Coattail Score and similar metrics are based on historical data and are not predictive of future performance.
All securities investments involve risk, including the possible loss of the entire amount invested. Consult a qualified financial adviser before making any investment decisions.
You are solely responsible for complying with all applicable securities laws. Do not use information from the Service in connection with any illegal securities activity.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR ACCURACY. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COATTAIL WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING INVESTMENT LOSSES ARISING FROM YOUR RELIANCE ON INFORMATION PROVIDED THROUGH THE SERVICE. COATTAIL'S TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF FEES PAID BY YOU IN THE PRIOR 12 MONTHS OR $100.00.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Coattail, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, costs, or fees arising from your violation of these Terms, your use of the Service, or your violation of any applicable law.
Before initiating formal proceedings, contact us at legal@coattail.co to attempt informal resolution. If unsuccessful, disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration under AAA Consumer Arbitration Rules in Delaware. You waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles.
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or via email. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
